RebelBuilt Platform Rules

Version PR-2026-10-v1 · Last updated October 17, 2026

Platform Membership Agreement Privacy Notice

1. Who these rules apply to

1.1 These Platform Rules apply to every Member of the RebelBuilt platform, to every person who signs in for a Member, and to every person a Member brings into a space.

1.2 These rules are part of the Platform Membership Agreement. They also apply to every Workspace License that refers to them.

1.3 Where a Workspace License and these rules address the same subject, the Workspace License controls for that space.

1.4 RebelBuilt updates these rules with at least 30 days' notice by email and in the app.

2. Conduct

2.1 Treat other Members, Space Hosts, guests, and RebelBuilt staff with respect, in person and in Platform communications.

2.2 Use other Members' equipment, inventory, and supplies only with their permission.

2.3 Leave shared areas clean and ready for the next person: clear your work surface, take out your own trash, and return shared tools to where you found them.

2.4 Follow your location's rules for guests, customers, and helpers. You are responsible for anyone you bring into a space.

2.5 Follow the law, the building's posted rules, and any instruction from RebelBuilt or the Space Host about safety.

3. Access codes, keys, and security

3.1 RebelBuilt or the Space Host issues each Member its own access code. Keep your code private and give it only to people on your own team who are listed with RebelBuilt.

3.2 Tell RebelBuilt at ops@rebelbuiltwork.com the same day if your code may be known to someone outside your team, or when a team member leaves. RebelBuilt or the Space Host then issues a new code.

3.3 Close and lock every exterior door and overhead door behind you. Leave doors open only while you are in the doorway or loading.

3.4 Leave cameras, locks, keypads, and network equipment in place and unaltered.

3.5 Your access code works only while your Workspace License is in effect and its requirements are met, including a current certificate of insurance.

4. Permitted and prohibited uses of space

4.1 Use each space only for the permitted use stated in your Workspace License.

4.2 Light production happens only at locations whose Workspace License permits it, and only of the kind it permits.

4.3 These activities and items are not allowed in any space:

  1. Living or sleeping in a space.
  2. Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials beyond ordinary quantities of consumer products used in your business.
  3. Open flames, space heaters, and fuel-burning equipment, unless your Workspace License permits them.
  4. Food or beverage production, unless the space is a licensed commercial kitchen and your Workspace License permits it.
  5. Vehicles inside a building, unless your Workspace License permits them.
  6. Anything that produces strong odors, smoke, or noise that reaches other Members' areas.
  7. Any illegal activity or illegal goods.

4.4 Make no permanent changes to a space, including drilling, mounting to walls or ceilings, painting, or wiring, without written approval from RebelBuilt.

5. Shared areas and bookings

5.1 Shared areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis to Members whose tier includes them.

5.2 A reserved work surface is booked on the location's shared calendar. A booking holds the surface for the booked block. Release a booking you will not use as early as possible so another Member can take it.

5.3 Unbooked time on a shared work surface is first-come, first-served. Yield the surface at the start of another Member's booked block.

5.4 Remove your tools, materials, and food from shared areas at the end of each use. RebelBuilt may clear items left overnight in a shared area.

5.5 Follow your location's rules for kitchens, refrigerators, and shared equipment.

6. Business address, mail, and deliveries

6.1 Use the location's business address exactly as RebelBuilt provides it, including the unit number.

6.2 Use the business address only while your Membership and Workspace License are in effect. Update your address with banks, agencies, and customers within 30 days after your Workspace License ends.

6.3 Mail is received and held for you as your tier and your location's rules describe.

6.4 Members whose tier includes Logistics may have deliveries sent to the location, including freight. Hold periods, and the fees after a hold period ends, are set by your tier and your location's rules.

6.5 Deliveries outside your tier's Logistics terms are received only through an add-on available at your location.

6.6 Label every delivery with your business name. Pick up deliveries within the hold period.

7. Storage

7.1 Store items only in the storage space assigned to you under your Workspace License or a storage add-on.

7.2 Keep stored items inside the assigned footprint and below the height limit posted for that storage space. Keep aisles, exits, door paths, electrical panels, and fire equipment clear.

7.3 Store food products only sealed, in their original packaging, and off the floor.

7.4 Place heavy items on the lowest shelf level and within the shelf's rated load.

7.5 Label your storage space with your business name. The signs RebelBuilt places to mark each Operator's space stay in place.

7.6 Remove all stored items by the last day of your Workspace License. Items left after that date are handled under the Workspace License.

8. Insurance and credentials

8.1 Every Operator holding a Workspace License carries commercial general liability insurance at the limits stated in its Workspace License, naming the additional insureds listed there.

8.2 Upload your certificate of insurance on Operator Home before your first day of Access, and upload each renewal before the current certificate expires.

8.3 RebelBuilt suspends the access code of an Operator without a current certificate until a current certificate is uploaded.

8.4 Keep any license your trade requires current, and upload it on Operator Home when RebelBuilt or a Space Host asks for it.

9. Photos, video, and other Members' privacy

9.1 Photograph or film only your own space, your own work, and the shared areas. Keep other Members' inventory, equipment, documents, signs, and business names out of the frame, or get their permission first.

9.2 RebelBuilt photographs and films its locations for Listings and marketing. Photos and videos used publicly show no Operator's property, signs, or business name without that Operator's permission.

9.3 Where a location has security cameras, they record its shared and exterior areas. RebelBuilt reviews recordings to investigate incidents and shares them only to resolve an incident or when the law requires it.

9.4 Information you see about another Member, including its deliveries and its customers, stays private.

10. Group conversations and communications

10.1 A location's group conversation, once available, includes its Members, its Space Host, and RebelBuilt. Use it for matters about that location.

10.2 Post no advertising, solicitation, or repeated promotional messages in a group conversation. Members may introduce their businesses once and answer questions about them.

10.3 Post no harassment, threats, or discriminatory content anywhere on the Platform.

10.4 Send requests about your Workspace License, billing, or access to RebelBuilt at ops@rebelbuiltwork.com or in the support conversation, not in the group conversation.

11. Reporting problems and emergencies

11.1 In a fire, medical emergency, or crime in progress, call 911 first.

11.2 Report to RebelBuilt at ops@rebelbuiltwork.com, and to the Space Host where the Space Host operates the location, the same day: any injury, damage to a space or the building, a leak, a lock or door that does not secure, a missing item, or a safety hazard.

11.3 Report damage you cause, and pay for its repair under your Workspace License.

12. Enforcement and location-specific rules

12.1 RebelBuilt notifies a Member in writing of a rule violation and gives a reasonable time to correct it, except where the violation creates a safety risk.

12.2 RebelBuilt may suspend access, remove items from a shared area, charge the fees stated in the Workspace License or the location's rules, or end a Membership under the Platform Membership Agreement, depending on how serious the violation is and whether it repeats.

12.3 Each location may have additional rules, posted on that location's Space Home page in the app, or sent to that location's Members by email until Space Home is available. Those rules apply at that location in addition to these rules.
